ABOUT US
Every day, thousands of people die from viral infections because they fail to wash their hands. Researchers in London estimate that if everyone routinely washed their hands, a million deaths a year could be prevented. Rural parts of countries such as India fail to supply adequate knowledge on the importance of hand washing to their communities and therefore experience a high mortality rate. Through a series of studies and articles, The International Journal of Community Medicine and Public Health presents a strong argument that Hand Washing is one of the most important disease prevention tools in rural areas around the world.
Our Mission is to spread hand sanitation awareness in rural communities around the world.
In the past year alone, we have been able to spread our message to over 30 schools and 5,000 children in India, and partner with Jordan International Aid to launch a project in Kenya impacting over 1000 local kenyans.
However, as a team, we are still motivated to change the lives of many more people. In a few months, we will be launching a project with Jordan International Aid during a medical relief camp in Cambodia. We plan to supply over 2000 sanitation supplies and present multiple presentations on the importance of hand washing. In addition this year we are planning to do projects in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Tecate, India and the Dominican Republic. Due to COVID-19 we have postponed our projects this year, and have transferred our funds to support hospitals and our COVID19 initiative.
